You cast down into a
valley the host of Pi-Beses
and it lay on the ground emptied of its wealth,
with many open wounds,
while the once-forlorn Israel is marked with blood
She is released and well-groomed, cleansed in spirit and
laundered without.
Even before the afflicted nation won rest from bitter labor,
salvation began to sprout for the nation guarded like
the apple of an eye,
when You crowned them with a crown that refreshes the soul,
for before they were freed
You gave them the gift of the Sabbath.

Forever will I exalt You, O Savior and Master,
Who delivered me to freedom from the house of darkness.
You sheltered my head to let me survive,
You protected and rescued, passed over and removed.
Chazzan continues
Blessed are You, Hashem, Shield of Abraham.
You are eternally mighty, my Lord, the
Resuscitator of the dead are You; abundantly able to save. He
makes the wind blow and He makes the rain descend. He sustains the living with
kindness, resuscitates the dead with abundant
mercy, supports the fallen, heals the sick, releases the confined, and maintains
His faith to those asleep in the dust. Who is like You, O
Master of mighty deeds, and who is comparable to You, O
King Who causes death and restores life and makes salvation
sprout! And You are faithful to resuscitate the
dead.

All continue
My salvation and my honor, my fortress
and my refuge,
He takes up the grievance against those who overpower me,
He shelters me with his pinion, Hashem, my banner.
He will pay me and collect from my foes the just penalty
due me,
when He will kindle His flame above my head.
He rode to Egypt on a swift cloud to drive me away from affliction.
He destroyed the fortress of those who weakened me
and plowed me under;
my ultimate destination, Jerusalem, He Who sought me out guided me,
and from His holy heavenly abode He healed my hurt.
